 Launch Night - Wednesday 13th May, 5pm - 6.30pm!

Here at Penshaw Equestrian Centre we’re excited to announce that we are now an Approved British Riding Club Centre!

What does this mean? We now offer regular training, competitions and assessments as part of the British Riding Club movement to enable everyone to fully enjoy the equestrian experience!

Who can join? Riding Club Centre membership is open to everyone; even if you don’t have your own horse! Senior membership is for those aged 18 years and over; Junior membership is available for the younger ones!

How much does it cost? Being a member costs just £12 a year and all rallies, training, competitions and events are competitively priced offering great value for money.

Is there a chance to compete? Yes! Across the year there will be inter-team competitions in all disciplines.

Do I have to be an experienced rider? No! The Riding Club is open to all levels of riders and it’s up to you which rallies and events you attend. There’s something for everyone at Penshaw Equestrian Riding Club Centre!

Are there any exams? There are a number of optional exams in both riding and horse welfare; these are similar to BHS Exams and start from Level 1. Passing Riding 3A and Horse Welfare 3 would gain direct entry into BHS Stage 3!

How do I join? It’s easy – just ask at the office for a Membership Form then complete and return it with your membership fee. We’ll then send a copy to the BRC and they’ll be in touch with your membership card! Being a member also gets you great discounts including 30% off when joining the BHS as a new member and up to 35% off subscriptions to equestrian magazines such as Horse & Hound.

So what are you waiting for? Don’t miss out!
