Facilities

Penshaw Equestrian Centre was established in 1977 & since this time the riding school & livery yard has expanded to its present size.
The School has a large variety of school horses available for complete beginners up to competent riders. Riders with their own horses are also welcome. Our instructors range from student teachers to BHSII.
We offer instruction in all aspects of horse care from in-house courses, Riding and Road Safety courses, Riding Holidays and BHS examinations. Penshaw Equestrian Centre is an Approved BHS Where to Train centre.
We take horses for breaking and schooling.
We run competitions in a range of disciplines including show-jumping, dressage, showing, show-cross and one day events.
Our BHS approved certificate and our riding school licence are located in the office.
